Fxcm Review

I have only one thing to say about Fxcm and that is I do not like their platform at all and I have had nothing but serious complications from the day I started trading with them. I don't even know where to begin but I suppose somebody's got to do the dirty job.

First and foremost, I have a major problem with their micro account. First of all, I am actually getting constantly locked out of my own account for some reason. Then, I was told that I am not able to use limit orders between the bids. If you are not a standard account holder, you cannot even call or chat. The only option you have is to email support and that is practically useless.

Next, I have had problems with the accounts either slowing down or freezing when my account is in a favorable positions. However, it almost never seem to happen when my account is on the losing end. At other times, the system just crashes completely. Attempts to get answers have been dampen with the usual software/hardware problems on MY part. This is always the easy answer for those that do not want to be held responsible.

After the Micro account, I made the mistake of turning to the Mini account. I experienced bad spread fluctuations with this account where my $2500 just vanished in no time. I should never even have opened this account with Fxcm.

Should you by any chance succeed in making some form of profit with them and try to withdraw your money, you will have to go through another torrid time. I think I have yet to find another platform with a more complex withdrawal system than Fxcm. What can be achieved in a matter of minutes takes nearly a month. I just see no reason for that.

Out of curiosity, I took a general browse through the reviews of other traders and found that I am not the only one with these problems. So, to say that what I feel is a general and an authentic concern and issue is not going overboard.

For those of you who are still trading with them, please beware. It is akin sitting on top of the fence where you can fall off any minute. I have no will to continue my trades with them and thus will close my accounts immediately after I post this review. I just feel obligated to at least warn others from a similar fate as me.
