Alpari Review

I started trading with Alpari through a recommendation from a friend. Not wanting to follow his advice blindly, I read some of the reviews that were available and that didn't really help because as with most other platforms, there is a mixed response from traders and brokers alike.

I decided to give them a benefit of a doubt, to go ahead and trade. The Alpari team was quite helpful initially when it came to me requesting assistance in setting up my account. Once I started, that was when the real problems began.

I have experienced everything from delays in getting orders either off or on and as a result, have suffered heavy losses to withdrawal problems to bad customer support. When I tried contacting them, the answer I get was almost always that the problem was with my server or that I was at fault. They never even as much as apologize for the inconvenience caused or they would at least try to look into the matter and rectify it.

When I actually succeeded in making a few profitable trades (with no help on their part I can assure you), I could not withdraw my finds! Can you imagine that? I have waited over a month now and still have not got the withdrawal through. Contacting the Customer Support is but a total waste of time. To date, I have written to them more than 4 times and they have yet to reply. To quote one of their answers in the reviews.

I think that explains a lot. They are not professional in my opinion in handling a customer's concern. I think a good company not only is one that is prepared to assist their customers in any way but also willing to listen. After all, without us, who are they?

I have also noticed that they do not live up to their advertisements of 'low spread'. I personally experienced the higher spread with no notification of the change and when asked, the answer was that they did not change it for "reasons of commercial convenience." For me, that is the same as false advertisement or SCAM.

I have since closed my accounts with Alpari UK after continuous frustrations with their team not interested in helping me resolve my issues. So, I would wish anyone who intends to trade with them the very best of luck but as for me, I am investing with someone who are at least professional and shows concern.
